Who This Course Is For

Designed For Players Ready to Level Up Their Skills

The Confident Beginner

I’ve learned the basics and can play a few songs, but I’m ready to sound more fluid and professional. I want to smooth out my transitions, use both hands with confidence, and start playing music that truly feels expressive.

The Creative Player

I’m comfortable reading music and playing simple pieces, but I want to go beyond the page — to arrange, experiment with left-hand patterns, and bring my own personality into the music.

The Technique Refiner

I can already play, but I know my rhythm, scales, or chord work could be stronger. I’m ready to polish my technique, master inversions, and gain more control over dynamics and phrasing.

Common Questions

You’re ready if you can play basic chords, read simple music, or have completed the Foundations or Beginner course. This program helps you move beyond the basics and develop smoother coordination, stronger technique, and more expressive musical playing.

Basic reading skills are helpful, but you don’t need to be an expert. You’ll strengthen your reading while also learning to work from lead sheets and chord symbols, giving you more freedom to interpret and arrange music creatively.

Most students see strong progress with 30-60 minutes of practice, five to six days per week. Each lesson includes clear practice strategies so you know exactly what to focus on between lessons.

Students explore a variety of styles including pop, classical, jazz, and contemporary music. The skills you learn—chord inversions, accompaniment patterns, and lead sheet reading—allow you to apply your playing to many different genres.

After this course, students are ready for Advanced Piano, where the focus expands into deeper musical expression, advanced harmony, improvisation, and developing your own personal musical style.
